teaser

i am still gathering my thoughts and photos for my race report but did manage to put a little video together. it isn't anything special but what i love most about it is that it shows just how HUGE these Ironman races are. you get a good feel for that by watching the athletes lining up for the swim. i knew it was close to 3000 athletes but until i saw the video, i had no idea what that looked like. there is music on the video so you may need to stop the music that automatically plays on my blog or you will be listening to 2 songs mixed together and Eminem and Techno don't go together. enjoy!

    With the techno playing I kept expecting you to come bouncing by the camera with a microwave strapped to your back!

    And the mount area for the bike is pretty narrow! Looked like ants coming out of mound.

    Wow, the idea of dealing with all those people in a WTC event is intimidating. I guess I'll find out at Eagleman. Great race! Great video my the J man!

    Out of all those people at the swim start, I think I actually saw the guy I swim with. How crazy is that? I'm going to have to go look up his number to be sure.

    So were people mounting their bikes really early or really late? It seems like there were quite a few people still walking/running with their bikes while others were already riding..

    You look super strong on the run! Can't wait to hear all of the details!
