i'll be back later to re-create the giveaway post from yesterday. much love and peace out!

  1. look under your "Drafts" section under "Edit Posts". Do you have auto save on? Part of it should be there somewhere!

  2. Jon, part of it did save...unfortunately it was only a very small part - one paragraph and a picture. The majority of it, poof, gone! I should have known something was wrong when I kept getting an error when I tried to upload a pic saved on my computer and also when I hit the Draft button to see what the post looked like, it wouldn't pull up at all. I also noticed yesterday when I was trying to see other comments on someone's blog that it errored out on me. Must have been something wrong on blogger yesterday b/c today, all is fine.

Are you just irritated or cranky? I havent seen the Golden Crank Award, well, since I got it.

  6. Been so there. Makes you just want to pack it in.

I started doing all my writing in Word Documents, and saving them. Gives me a backup in case I need it.

Whatever you do, don't give up!!!

  7. Well, if you're irritated, put some AMBP on it! Bummer about the post, happened to me before but now I hit save as soon as I think of it and don't trust the autosave anymore.

  8. I have unfortunately had that happen a few times (and am very sorry that it happened to you too!!). i try to be vigilant now about always doing a quick "copy" and sometimes "paste" to word before leaving a screen in blogger. That way I can ensure that if the page flips out on me, I at least have the text somewhere!!!

  9. M, that is exactly what I was thinking I will do from here on out. I've had it happen when I leave comments on other blogs and usually it's the comment that was lengthy.

Kovas, no amount of AMBP will cure the loss of my post. It was soooo good. I don't know if I can replicate it. But i will tri(yes, tri is spelled right)!

Ms. Z, exactly, all that time, flushed down the drain. Seriously, it made me want to cry.

BDD, I didn't forget the Golden Cranky award but everyone has been on good behavior since you were awarded with it. They must not want that award.

Bob, we'll be in the hills tomorrow at 6:30am. Just an FYI if you are around.

Jim, no giving up here. I love to blog and follow everyone too much.

Jon, if I could punish blogger, i would! Blogger...you are a big Beeyotch!

  10. Are you posting via Blogger's system? If so, I recommend checking out Windows Live Writer. Unfortunately it is Windows only though, so if you have a Mac, I guess you are out of luck.

I use it exclusively and it makes posting so much easier.

  11. I had that happen once. Now I save everything every few lines as I write.

  12. that happened to me sunday. Pretty sure I had written the most awesome post ever and *poof* it was gone. I was too frustrated to even bother recreating it.

  15. Blogger can eat my shorts 90% of the time.

I thought about saving my blog posts as word documents... but that seems like a lot of work :(
